Article Marketing

I've always enjoyed writing. It's become more and more of a hobby of mine. And when I found out that I could write to help promote business, I found myself immediately drawn to article marketing.

There are hundreds of websites available for article distribution. This is my no means a comprehensive list. My favorites allow me to create an author page that links to all of my articles, but not all of them do this. There are a few such as Ezine Articles that are more reputable than others. Some are more community based, such as Squidoo and Qondio. And some are nothing more than link farms for spun articles. I don't spin articles and suspect that it's a waste of time.

I also don't worry if the sites are Do Follow or No Follow. Why? Because you never know which articles from which sites are going to get picked up by other websites and e-zines. Several of my articles have been re-posted to other sites with links included. Free backlinks! And it's helps to spread my reputation as an author and expert.
